As you entertain this holiday season, add a personal touch by creating a DIY wine bottle wreath.
Prophecy’s illustrated wine labels offer a world of rich details and vibrant colors, making them the perfect artistic medium to work with. Inspired by traditional holiday wreaths, our wine bottle wreaths are much easier to make while still incorporating many of the same elements. We used Prophecy Pinot Noir and our new Prophecy Buttery Chardonnay bottles to create our own.
For our Pinot Noir wreath, we highlighted the plum hues both in the wine and on the label by selecting flowers with complimentary colors. This included Amaranthus, Tinted Seeded Eucalyptus, Hoary Stock and Scabiosa Pods. Using twine and coil as a base, we added the flowers to create an asymmetrical extension of the beautiful world displayed on the bottles.
Extending the rich buttercream notes in our Buttery Chardonnay, as well as the brilliant golden hue of the label, we selected Craspedia, Spray Roses, Dusty Miller and Veronica to create a dazzling wreath featuring our new Chardonnay.
